It’s official: Gartner selects Webinfinity as a 2018 ‘Cool Vendor’!

The Webinfinity team is thrilled to share that we’ve been selected by Gartner for inclusion in their Cool Vendors 2018 list, a yearly Gartner report identifying the most innovative and promising new technologies they’re seeing on the market.

In the report, Gartner praises Webinfinity for taking an innovative and fundamentally different approach to PRM, partner portals, and field enablement, emphasizing qualities like just-in-time enablement, highly personalized experiences, heavy emphasis on user engagement, and enabling non-technical system configuration and integration over typical partner portals that rely heavily on custom coding.

The team is very proud of this honor to say the least, as it puts us in the company of past recipients like Box, Nest, Evernote, Cloudera, Dropbox, Palantir and Instagram.

In the report, Gartner also validates a key question that Webininity asks every day: Simple, personalized, engaging experiences that are a snap to set up have become the expectation of everyone who owns a smart phone. Why shouldn’t the partner experience be any different?

The assessment was led by Ilona Hansen, Gartner’s analyst for CRM, indirect channel, and sales automation technologies, and can be found in its full form here.

So what does it take to be anointed a Cool Vendor? Curtis Sparrer of Forbes recently pointed out in his column that a lot of it has to do with being well aligned with where the technology is heading: “A Cool Vendor is a company that has figured out a way to bring to light the technology trends that are happening today. It’s really about picking up a current trend in the market and turning it into a new way to do something.”

Sounds apt, and pretty cool. Now if I can just convince my daughters this is as cool as I think it is…
